Closedblock ("we," "us") is a technology provider serving life insurance brokerages. This policy describes how we handle information collected through this website, closedblock.com.

It does not cover client book data. Policy and policyholder records that a brokerage entrusts to Closedblock are governed by a written data agreement executed with that brokerage before any data moves — including security obligations, breach notification terms, and deletion on termination.

What we collect

• Information you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you choose to include in your message.
• Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. See Google's privacy policy for how Google processes this data. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

We do not collect Social Security numbers through this website or anywhere else, and we do not sell personal information.

How we use it

To respond to inquiries, to understand how the site is used and improve it, and to operate and secure the site. We do not use website contact information for automated marketing without your consent.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business (such as Google Analytics and our email provider), when required by law, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Retention & security

We keep correspondence as long as needed for the purpose it was sent and for our records, then delete it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold.

Children

This site is for insurance professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
